These are nice and cheesy without the cheese!

1 c flour (I used oat)
2 tbsp nutritional yeast
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp paprika
1/8 tsp turmeric
1 tbsp black sesame seeds, optional
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp coconut oil or vegan butter
1 tsp lemon juice
5-6 tbsp cold water, as needed

Preheat oven to 180C.

In a medium bowl mix all the dry ingredients together. Add the oils and juice and mix with a fork. Add enough cold water to form a dough.

Roll dough in between 2 sheets of baking paper to form a rectangle roughly 20x30cm and about 3-4mm thick. Cut the dough into small squares or rectangles using a knife or a rolling pastry cutter.

Transfer the dough and bottom piece of baking paper onto your baking tray. Bake for around 15 min until golden. Leave to cool on the tray.

Oat flour does not have much gluten so these crackers turned out a bit crumbly. Perhaps I needed to add 1/2 tsp of guar or xanthan gum to help bind the dough. Still yum though.
